Henry Beguelin: The New Season Edit

Henry Beguelin has never been a house in a hurry, and the newest edit at Riada Concept makes that case plainly. Across shoulder bags, totes, crossbodies and mini shoppers, the range favours natural leathers, hand-stitched edges and a colour palette drawn from earth and stone rather than trend. It is a collection built on repetition with purpose: the same considered craftsmanship appears in a rounded shoulder bag as it does in a quilted tote or a shearling loafer, so that choosing between them becomes a question of shape and occasion rather than quality. Bolla Bassa

The Bolla Bassa takes its name from its rounded, low-slung silhouette, a soft bubble shape that sits close to the body and holds its form without feeling structured. It arrives this season in three earthy colourways: a deep Oliva, a classic Nero, and a rich T.Moro, each demonstrating how much the leather's natural grain can vary the same design. It is the kind of bag suited equally to daytime errands and evenings out, asking little of the rest of an outfit while adding real texture to it.

Whipstitched and Quilted

Two totes anchor this season's edit, each taking a different approach to the same brief. The Whipstitched Leather Shopper, in Nero, is defined by its visible edge stitching, a detail that runs the perimeter of the bag and gives it a handcrafted, slightly rustic finish. The Pizzicato, in a warm Brandy, takes the opposite route, its surface finely quilted for a softer, more tactile texture. Both are sized for daily use, built to carry the essentials of a working day without sacrificing the artisanal character Henry Beguelin is known for.

Classic Pouch

The Classic Pouch is the most versatile shape in the edit, a compact crossbody designed to move easily from day into evening. It arrives in three colourways this season: Nero for everyday wear, a lighter Gesso for warmer months, and Brandy for a richer, more autumnal tone. Its scaled-down proportions make it a natural pairing for the season's simpler silhouettes, worn close to the body rather than as a statement piece.

Shearling Leather

Where the rest of the edit leans on smooth leather, the Mini Shopper introduces shearling into the mix, lining a compact shopper silhouette in a soft, textural finish. Available in Nero and Taupe, it brings a seasonal warmth to the range without straying from the collection's understated palette, and works equally well as a considered day bag or a point of textural contrast against smoother leather pieces.

Olivia Shearling Loafer

Rounding out the edit is the Olivia, a shearling-lined loafer in Nero that carries the same handmade sensibility through to footwear.
