A soft spread collar with gently rounded tips gives Massimo Alba's Canary shirt its relaxed, unstructured character, and here it is cut from linen with a natural, slightly irregular texture and a washed finish that softly fades the edges of the collar and seams. Mother-of-pearl buttons run down the front, a cotton voile inner bib shows as a lighter tone at the open neck, and a small shield-shaped crest is embroidered tone on tone on the front. Grape, a deep plum close to aubergine, gives the linen an inky richness. Made in Italy.
