Volta Small Leather & Suede Crossbody Bag in Nero
The Volta Small is the compact crossbody of Henry Beguelin's Volta family, a line the house designs around movement and everyday wear. Its body is pieced together from grained Granello leather and Softy suede: on the front, an arched panel of grained leather sits between two panels of suede, and on the back the arrangement is reversed. With both materials in Nero, the design reads through texture rather than colour, finished with visible topstitching and the house's Omino stitched at the centre front. Handcrafted in Italy.
A slim grained leather strap clips on at either side, so the Volta Small sits neatly at the hip when worn across the body and leaves the hands free through a full day in the city. Its tonal black suits a slip dress and blazer at dinner as readily as white denim and a fine knit at the weekend.

What is the Henry Beguelin Volta Small made from?
The Volta Small combines two bovine materials: Granello, a grained leather with a firm, textured surface, and Softy, Henry Beguelin's suede. In Nero both are black, so the panels are told apart by texture alone, the grain of the leather against the matt nap of the suede.
What is inside the Volta Small?
A zip runs across the top of the bag and opens to a black fabric lining with an inner zip pocket, keeping smaller essentials separate from the main compartment.
How does the Volta Small differ from the Volta Large?
Both bags use the same pairing of grained leather and suede. The Volta Large is a relaxed, slouched hobo carried on the shoulder, while the Volta Small is a compact crossbody sized for the essentials.
Is the Henry Beguelin Volta Small available in other colours?
