The Bolla Bassa is Henry Beguelin's low, elongated take on the rounded Bolla shoulder bag, made here in soft lambskin treated with the brand's signature Old Iron process. The hand-worked finish gives the Camel leather a lived-in texture and a depth of colour that develops with wear, while visible stitching, knotted leather zip pulls and the brand's small signature figure keep the detailing artisanal and understated. Handcrafted in Italy. Available in Australia online and in-store at Riada Concept in Woollahra, Sydney.
Two long rolled handles sit comfortably on the shoulder, and the zip-top closure keeps the interior secure, so the bag moves easily from day into evening. Camel works with ivory knitwear and dark denim as readily as with chocolate or black tailoring. Also available in Oliva, or in streaked Wine pony-hair calf.
