Frank & Eileen built the Eileen Quilted Shirt Jacket on the lines of its best-selling Eileen button-up, reworking the shirt as an outer layer in the house's Famous Denim. The denim is used inside and out and quilted in a diamond pattern over a padded layer, giving the jacket warmth without bulk, and snap buttons fasten the front. Pockets hidden in the side seams keep the front clean, joined by a chest pocket, a pen pocket and pockets on the inside. A small-batch stone wash gives the distressed indigo a lived-in character that continues to soften and fade with wear, so no two jackets are quite alike. Available online with shipping throughout Australia and internationally, and in-store at Riada Concept in Woollahra, Sydney.
With room through the body for layering, the jacket sits easily over the Monterey Pointelle Sweater in Sand, while the Bray Barrel Pant in White lightens the indigo for a weekend lunch or an afternoon in town.
