THE EVERYDAY UNIFORM | FRANK & EILEEN AUSTRALIA
Frank & Eileen: The Everyday Uniform
Three easy looks from the new Frank & Eileen arrivals, from a denim barn jacket to a pointelle knit, finished with Henry Beguelin leather at Riada Concept in Woollahra.
Frank & Eileen built its name on the idea that the best wardrobe is one you reach for without thinking: soft, well-cut pieces in considered colours, made in small batches from good cotton. At Riada Concept in Woollahra, new arrivals and restocks have landed this week, including two new denim jackets and the pointelle knitwear that lightens the season. Below, three looks show how little effort it takes, each assembled from pieces that work as well apart as they do together.
The Barn Jacket and the Pointelle

Begin with the Bantry Denim Barn Jacket in 1978 Wash, a relaxed, unlined jacket in medium blue denim with a notched collar and roomy patch pockets. It sits over the Monterey Pointelle Sweater in Sand, an airy cotton knit with a rolled funnel neck, and a white long-sleeve tee gives a clean base beneath the open knit.
The Galway Wide-Leg Jean in 2002 Wash completes the look. Its softly faded indigo sits a shade deeper than the jacket, which keeps denim on denim from looking matched. A low heel or a boot suits the full length.
White, Indigo and Camel

The Eileen Quilted Shirt Jacket in Distressed Indigo Wash is the second new denim jacket: a diamond-quilted version of the brand's Eileen shirt, cut oversized, with snap closures and plenty of pockets. Worn over the Eileen Ruffle Collar Shirt in White Denim, it gives the palette a crisp, slightly romantic edge.
The Bray Barrel Pant in White Italian Peached Twill keeps the look light, with a high waist and a gently curved leg. A camel Henry Beguelin Shopper M adds warmth and carries everything the day requires.
Olive, Cream and Camel

For a softer, more textural option, the Bray Barrel Pant in Olive anchors a palette of neutrals. The Monterey Pointelle Sweater in White sits underneath, and the Mini Cotswolds Cropped Cable Knit Cardigan in Camel goes over it, its braided cable panels and horn buttons adding depth to the white.
The finishing touch is the Henry Beguelin Granello Softy Leather Sneaker in Gesso, a polished alternative to a trainer that suits the barrel leg.
The Henry Beguelin Edit
Frank & Eileen is intentionally simple, which makes the accessories do the talking. The camel tote and Gesso sneaker above both come from Henry Beguelin, the Italian leather house known for natural leathers and hand finishing, and both sit comfortably with denim, cotton and knitwear.
